Our Philosophy
It is the philosophy of Hands & Hearts Child Care that children should have an enjoyable, loving, supportive, educational, comfortable, and safe atmosphere in which individual & cultural differences are valued for the child to explore and discover. Every child is encouraged to explore, discover, and learn through arts and crafts, music, books, science experiments, games, outdoor play, dramatic play and the encouragement of questions. Rhymes, poetry, reading, writing, movement, math and science skills are incorporated through various methods. Activities are planned to support the learning process and address each child's physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and creative development. Activities tend to be open-ended and are mostly process, not product, oriented because they promote self-learning, problem solving, and creativity in children.
Our Hours
Hands & Hearts Child Care is open Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 5:30 pm. After hours and drop-in care may be arranged in advance. There is a possibility for full time overnight care depending on hours, and current availability of my overnight ratio. Please use the contact form at the bottom of this page to verify any openings.

Our Location
Hands & Hearts Child Care is located on Holloman AFB. At this time since I am located on base, I can only provide care to families that have base access.
Our Rates
Please contact Hands & Hearts Child Care for our current rates. Rates may vary, so it's best to set up an interview to get the most accurate rate for your child care need. Hands & Hearts Child Care accepts Subsidy. Subsidy is an Air Force program to help with the cost of full time child care. Parents wanting more information on Subsidy, should contact the Holloman FCC Office at (575)-572-5848.
Meals
Breakfast, Lunch, and Afternoon snack will be served daily to those children who are receiving care during meal times. Hands & Hearts Child Care is enrolled in the U.S.D.A Food Program. All meals will be nutritious and well balanced. No child will be required to eat a food that he/she does not like. Please note: Parents may not send food or snacks with children.
Health & Safety
Hands & Hearts Child Care strives to comply with Air Force health and safety standards for FCC homes. Our home is smoke free. Floors are swept/vacuumed daily, the appropriate bleach solution is used to disinfect diaper, play and preparation areas, and bags coming into the home are kept out of children's reach, as are knives, and other sharp objects. Additionally my home is monitored by FCC staff at least once per month to ensure compliance with program guidelines.
Confidentiality
Hands & Hearts Child Care will maintain the confidentiality and respect the privacy of each family enrolled for care by not discussing their child(ren) or family issues with other parents, providers, or anyone other than child(ren)'s immediate family. Exception: The provider may contact FCC staff for guidance as needed to manage his/her FCC program.
